Description

The Abbott Brew House started brewing in August 2013, in an outbuilding adjoining the historic Abbot House Heritage Centre & Dunfermline Abbey. The layout of the Brew House and brewing methods used are identical to pre-industrial 17th century brewing as was. A wide range of beers are produced many of which utilise historic recipes adapted to suit modern tastes. There is a public viewing area with accompanying story boards for visitors detailing the historic role of ale in Dunfermline
