Caveman began brewing in 2012 and moved to its current site beneath the George & Dragon pub in 2013 using a four-barrel plant. It is named for the local discovery in the 1930s of skull fragments from a Palaeolithic human, then the oldest remains found in the UK. Beers can be found nationwide through various wholesalers with direct supply to London, Kent and parts of Sussex.
