8 Sail

Heckington Windmill, Hale Road, Heckington, NG34 9JW (View on Google Map) 01529469308 EightSailBrewery@aol.com Website

Description

Established in 2010, 8 Sail Brewery operates on a six-barrel brew plant. It nestles in the shadow of Heckington Windmill, Britain’s only eight-sailed windmill, from where it takes its name. The Mill helps to mill malted grain for the brewery. The shop stocks bottle-conditioned beers alongside local ciders. The front of the brewery has been converted into a Victorian-style bar, which has beer on handpump daily. The large outside area is weather dependent (hours may vary).
