Description

Opened August 2000. The five-barrel brewery which has been installed by Mike Askey of Bitter End at Cockermouth, having been supplied via Sutton Brewery, is visible through a glass wall from the coffee shop of the campus, and is part of the Summerlands Project of the college, which includes product development as well as straight training. Brewing was suspended in autumn 2004.
