WHARF Brewery was founded in 2023 with the merger of three breweries, Red Fox, Harwich Town and Witham. WHARF brews at the former Red Fox brewery premises (Witham and Harwich Town were cuckoo breweries using the same plant), and have a beer range derived from all three constituent parts. WHARF sells to pubs across the combined catchment area, many beer festivals, and puts on the Coggeshall Beer Festival (beginning of September), and the Harwich Redoubt Beer Festival (end of July).
