Wylam commenced brewing in 2000 on a 4.5-barrel plant. In 2016 the brewery moved to Newcastle upon Tyne, and a new 30-barrel kit was installed at the Palace of the Arts, in the city's Exhibition Park. It hosts regular events and concerts in the main hall and has a separate taproom area (open Fri-Sun).
