Farr Brew began brewing in 2014, expanding in 2016 with a new 10-barrel facility. Ecological and environmental concerns are at the forefront of everything Farr Brew does. Community engagement includes hop-growing, and a homebrewers competition. The brewery now runs several pubs around Hertfordshire: Reading Rooms, Wheathampstead; Rising Sun, Slip End; Red Cow, Harpenden; Eight Bells, Old Hatfield, and Elephant & Castle, Amwell.
