Description

Opened in 2014, Almasty brews across two sites. The original site in Shiremoor runs the mixed/natural fermentation and barrel-ageing programme. The newer site now produces the majority of output, which is a continuously changing range of unfined, unfiltered beers. These include heavily-hopped pale ales, IPAs and rich stouts. A taproom and shop located at Benfield Business Park is open during summer weekends. House beer pumpclips are made from screen-printed, hand-sawn logs. Beers are supplied nationwide.
