Description

Brewing commenced after a refurbishment of The Star pub in the spring of 1992. A 9 barrel brewplant was used. Following much success, a sister, the Tipsy Toad Townhouse, was opened in 1994. The original brewers left in 1996 to set up Skinner's Ales and soon after the brewery was taken over by Jersey Brewery. The brewplant was removed at the end of June 2004 and relocated to form The Jersey and Tipsy Toad Brewery.
