This "Dramatically Dark" beer is a complex, satisfying Porter...smooth, rich and distinctive. Pale, crystal brown malts, and chocolate malts, plus fruit, feature on the nose, whilst the Fuggles and Golding hops ensure a powerful andsatisfying finish...bittersweet and hints of chocolate and toffee.

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
