Audio Description

Pop-up micropub, the Two Tails Taproom in Heathfield, East Sussex is awaiting final approvals for its move to a permanent home in a former womenswear boutique (above).

Two Tails is the brainchild of Colin and Deena Gilham who made Heathfield their home in 2022. Since launching, the pair has built the venture around working closely with local producers across everything they sell.

Since 2024, Two Tails has hosted a series of pop-up events at Union Church in Heathfield and Deena and Colin feel the time is now right for a permanent presence in the town centre.

A permanent home would allow more community events, collaborations and local initiatives with several local groups, small businesses and charities already keen to get involved.

Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council has already given its support to the change of use for the high htreet premises and licensing applications, but nothing is guaranteed until both are formally approved.
