A modest frontage gives way to a roomy pub with plenty of seating. Views of the Minster from the seats by the door. Owned since December 2018 by Black Sheep Brewery who now brew the York Brewery beers. The regular beers are supplemented by an interesting choice of guests in both cask and keg. A wide range of real ciders and perries is served direct from the box. A spiral staircase leads down to the toilets.
