This Pub is Temporarily Closed

The pub closed in April 2024. The pub then was subsequently put up for auction. In response, a team was formed and backed with a number of pledges from over 70 residents, secured at the auction. The Bayford Inn Benefit Society Limited (a Community Benefit Society), have now launched a share offer to provide funds to cover the cost of a refurbishment. See the website for share purchases.

Former 17th century coaching inn known as the Unicorn, situated on the old A303, but now a quiet road one mile to the east of Wincanton. Wood burning stove and flagstone floor.
