This Pub is Closed Long Term

2020: Planning permission granted to convert to 8 dwellings but retaining a bar. An old coaching inn built in 1659, is popular with locals and and welcoming to visitors. Inside the bar and restaurant, there is an eclectic mix of decoration including a medieval style banqueting hall decorated with armour and swords. The area behind the fire provides a homely feel with sofas and plenty of books to read. Local and regional charities are supported with events are often held.
