Erection of 2no. additional floors at second and third floor level; erection of a rear extension at first floor level on top of the existing back addition, in connection with the conversion of the existing flat at first floor level into 5no. self-contained flats at first, second and third floor level; retention of the current use of the ground floor as a Public House and part of the basement as ancillary space to the Public House; retention of the remainder of the existing basement for bike storage, domestic refuse and recycling; and replacement of 2no. doors to the side (south) elevation at ground floor level wth 2no. windows within the existing openings.

A subsequent planning app 2018/04146/FUL was submitted Dec 2018:-

Demolition of the existing building and the erection of a replacement part two, part four storey building including further excavation and enlargement of the existing basement to include a new lightwell fronting Gorleston Street elevation comprising of commercial unit (flexible use class A1-A4) at basement and part of ground floor level, 1 x studio, 6 x 1 bedroom and 1 x 2 bedroom self-contained flats at first, second, third and part of ground floor level

Approved Aug 2021.

Planning app 2022/03211/FUL replaces the above with an entirely residential building.

Demolition of existing building, further excavation and enlargement of the existing

basement to include two lightwells on the Gorleston Street elevation, and erection of part two, part four-storey residential building with self-contained flats (Class C3).”

The new development include threes studio flats, three with one bedroom, three with two and one flat with three bedrooms.
