This Pub is Permanently Closed
Closed mid-July 2016. Reopened in Mar 2018 as Omar’s Place, a contemporary tapas restaurant and wine/cocktail bar.
Reopened in December 2011 after 12 years’ closure, this 1847 two-bar, grade II-listed corner pub (the front door is at 51 Hugh Street) is now back in business as a real local, with darts team, thanks to enthusiastic management. Greyhounds are portrayed in laser-etched windows and outside lanterns. The ground floor rooms are supplemented by further space downstairs. Traditional pub menu, the self-proclaimed only pie and mash shop in Westminster, and Sunday Roasts.
