Popular pub near the historic market town of Neston. Dating back to around 1826 when a Turnpike Act was passed which mentioned its former name The Shrewsbury Arms. Large dining area and a very cozy drinking area next to the bar with comfortable seating.
Historic Interest
Dating back to to before 1822 as the Fox & Hounds, later the Hinderton Arms, then the Shrewsbury Arms and listed under that name in Pigot's Directory of 1828-29. Shown on the Shrewsbury Arms in Bryant's map of 1831 but shown as the Hinderton Inn on the OS map of 1834-36 and Bagshaw's Directory of 1850. Acquired by West Cheshire Brewery. The old photos are from 1905. Changed name back to the Hinderton Arms about 2000.
