Located within easy reach of the shingle beach and with views of the North Sea, the pub is popular all year with locals, walkers and holidaymakers from nearby caravan parks and guest houses. The interior has a mock-Tudor design with four adjoining rooms, one for diners serving value for money food, a large central bar area with a large TV screen, a games room and a side room. Up to seven ales and a regularly changing cider are served by gravity dispense.
