lovely mellow stone building with floors on several levels, standing in a quarry; on this hill Sabine Baring-Gould's Onward Christian Soldiers was first sung in 1865

The history of The Quarry dates back to 1865 when it was a popular watering hole for the Quarry workers around the Horbury area.

In 2017 it was completely re-designed as a 2 storey restaurant, bar and private business/event space with an outdoor terrace area.
