A Harvester pub, so aimed at family friendly dining. Travelodge next door. The original part of the pub, where the bar is, dates from the early part of the twentieth century and extended in the 1990s. Unlike many pubs of this type there is a separate bar for those who want a drink but not a meal. Refurbished and reopened in March 2017, features include a heated area on the front patio.
