This Pub is Permanently Closed

Following the recent change in ownership of Punch Taverns this long-standing, family-run pub, the first and last pub in England, was refurbished throughout in early 2019, and reopened in May.

Modern, comfortable interior is split between a small bar area, a larger food-oriented area, as well as a ‘dog bar’ where four-legged friends are welcomed by treats and water bowls.

No real ale is on sale. Now a Starbucks.

Food is served all day, and children and dogs are welcome in all areas.
