Friendly local pub in the Northburn area of this new town, named after an old coal seam. 3 handpulls offer Jennings Cumberland ale and two ever-changing guest ales. This Cask Marque accredited pub is part of the Mitchells & Butlers chain, and so serves food daily until 9pm in the lounge area, which is suitable for families.
