Opened as The Priory pub in July 2009 having previously been closed. Food orientated during daytime, lively friendly pub in the evenings with live music 4 nights a week, Thursday to Sunday. Rear of pub has comfy leather settees, large fish-tank and a wall covered with Victorian pictures all of which add to the ambience of this pleasant hostelry. Area dedicated to tourism with leaflets etc. Quiz night on Tuesdays. Open 0900 Saturday/Sunday for breakfast.
