Owned by Ewan and Karen Alcorn. Close to Dunkeld Cathedral, this establishment has been in the same family for almost 50 years, and is the oldest trading pub in the area - first opening in 1795. Now a cosy one-room bar on the High Street, serving a mix of locals and tourists. The peaceful, secluded beer garden to the rear has a canopied section.
Cask ale arrived here in summer 2012; two handpulls, generally serving Scottish beers, one of them usually local. Opening times as shown in front window January 2026. Food is served daily including a Sunday roast carvery, with later opening 3pm on Wednesdays.
