This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Royal Hotel commands a prominent situation directly opposite the former position of the town's Old Mercat Cross looking along Blairgowrie High Street. Outwardly it retains the charm and character of early Victorian architecture. Internally, the hotel has been renovated and tastefully refurbished to cater for the 21st century lifestyle and now offers outstanding facilities. Closed 19/2/20 due to downturn in trade due pandemic.

B Listed. Opened in 1852 as Brown’s Hotel replacing John Brown’s (of Marlee) townhouse.
