Hotel with bar open to the public.

A family-run hotel at the southern end of the town, built in 1814 and retaining many of the original features. Now with 25 bedrooms, restaurant and function suite.

Cask ales were formerly available; The two handpulls in the lounge bar were still in place in 2025, but are understood to be awaiting removal.

Historic Interest

Dating from 1890. C Listed. Built on the site of the former Eagle Inn and the Fishmarket.
