Separate from main hotel with garden.

No longer part of the Milton Hotels group, the Birnam Inn (previously Birnam Tap) is a separate building on the east side of the Birnam Hotel, with a large garden to the front. Close to the Dunkeld & Birnam railway station, cask ale used to be served, along with meals.

Having been closed, while the adjacent hotel continues to undergo renovation, The Inn has reopened in 2026 as a pop-up pub, open just at weekends for now. Children welcome till 8pm. Local beers, seasonal pies and sides on offer for now - visit @birnamhotel on Instagram.
