The Princess Royal is a traditional family and community oriented pub on a side street within a few minutes walk of the town centre and the cricket ground. A central entrance leads into the bar area which features 3 handpulls, mostly dispensing national brands.

Lunch is served daily except Mondays and traditional pub games including pool, darts and skittles are available. Live music is featured on Saturday evenings. Skittles, darts and football teams are supported.
