Sprawling mock-Tudor pub which abuts a bowling green. It sits on a large roundabout ten minutes' walk from the city centre; with no crossings, pedestrian access can be tricky in busy traffic. In Ember Inns style, the place is full of cosy dining spaces with food served until 10pm. Quiz nights are held every Sunday and Wednesday. All cask ales are sold at a special price on Mondays & Thursdays, when CAMRA discounts do not apply. Parking requires registration entry.
