This Pub is Closed Long Term

Pub closed early 2020, needing structural refurbishment. It was boarded up and surrounded by scaffolding in Jun 2022.

However in May 2023 the owners Heineken (Star Pubs & Bars) announced an investment of a £500,000 refurbishment of this pub, consisting of a full makeover & new beer garden. the final result will feature "craft ales!"

Still closed up with metal sheeting on all windows & doors, and a large "For Sale" sign on a wall on 13th March 2026!

***** Original Description:

A large traditional street corner pub embedded within one of Swansea's bigger suburbs. Popular with both students and locals, it has two large and airy stone faced rooms. One is a triangular shaped main bar and the other is a long lounge/restaurant.

The pub usually has two real ales available, one is branded as "Rhyddings Ale" with the second being a changing beer often from the Caledonian brewery. Sunday lunch is served from 12-5 and there is a quiz on Monday evenings during term times.
