This friendly, community pub has a large open plan lounge/dining area and bar, with traditional pub games and more seating at the rear. Local history items and pictures adorn the room with several reminders of past generations of local and Welsh celebrities. Quiz night is on Sundays and there is an "Open Mic" night every first Wednesday of the month. There is a community focus and charity fund-raising events are organised regularly. There are four handpumps available on the bar, but since Covid and the Marstons takeover no cask ale is present.
