This Pub is Closed Long Term

This pub, which had been closed and shut up for several years, is still being marketed for sale, but was shown on the website as being under offer in April 2025: https://www.rjcharteredsurveyors.co.uk/properties/welcome-to-gower-gowerton.

In early 2025 the pub has opened as a community hub/charity shop. But the changes look cosmetic and temporary, with no structural or signage changes.

The following planning permission was submitted to Swansea City Council on Mon 15 Jul 2024 and approved on Thu 19 Dec 2024 :- 2024/1371/FUL Change of use to a community hub, comprising ground floor retail/café and first floor therapy centre | 2 Mount Street, Gowerton, Swansea SA4 3EJ
