This Pub is Permanently Closed
The small modern bar in this Grade II listed hotel, together with dining room to the right, has a music theme. Old vinyl albums and singles adorn on the ceiling and there are musical instruments on the walls. There are three hand pumps in use, one of which has a changing guest. Popular with customers for a morning coffee and a newspaper. There is live music on Saturday nights and a disco on Friday nights. It features in the Marlborough Jazz Festival in July. There is a large function room upstairs. Accommodation consists of six rooms. There is outside seating and parking at the back.
Historic Interest
Was the Crown and Anchor between 1832 and 1913, known as the Crown between 1914 and 2015 when it was briefly called the Piano Lounge.
