Unfortunately real ale was discontinued in December 2017 as it was not proving viable.

Reverted to Hope & Anchor in June 2017 after returning to Young's from Grand Union. Real ale reinstated when the pub reopened 18 October 2017 after refurbishment following temporary closure after a kitchen fire.

Huge Thai themed back garden with huts which can be hired and upstairs function room catering for parties of up to 500.

Historic Interest

Local listing:- Three storey interwar, Neo Georgian style public house. Painted faience pub front with sash windows and ornamental arched fanlights. Brick upper floors with Dutch style gables. Exposed box timber sliding sashes at first floor. Casements on second floor. Stock brick rear elevation has casement windows. Interior much altered.
