Traditional village pub built in the 18th century alongside the River Jordan, surrounded by stone cottages. On entering the lounge with its single bar, to the left is a snug with dartboard, while to the right is a pool table. A slope leads up to the separate restaurant serving traditional pub fare. Restricted opening in winter but open all day during high season. Outside the extensive beer garden features a children’s play area. There is a paved path from the gravel car park providing level access to the pub. Very close to large holiday parks, it's easy to miss, look for sign on leaving Weymouth,
