This large and lively village bar has various seating areas and a central fireplace. Many local pictures on walls and horse brasses adorn the beams. It also still retains outdoor toilets and patio seating areas to the front of the pub. Two log cabin letting rooms - both ensuite. Food is available at both lunchtimes and in the evening and a weekly Curry Night on Tuesdays runs from February - November.
The Lion hosts nine Tap Takeover and Meet The Brewer Events a year and has hosted over 50 different breweries in the last ten years. Annual Beer Festivals are held in January and August and a Sausage and Cider Festival in October.
