This 15th Century pub is set back from sea front and is one of the oldest buildings in the town. Up to six cask ales may be served.

Steps down from road lead into a small seating area which leads to the main bar and a variety of other seating areas. As at November 2026, food is provided by the Black Dog Pizza Company.

The pub has close ties with nearby lifeboat.

Please note that this pub only accepts payment by card - cash is not accepted.

The pub includes three boutique guest bedrooms for bed and breakfast stays.

Handpump dispense may be used for Brewery Conditioned Alcohol Free Ghost Ship.
