A traditional two bar pub with beams and tiled floors. There is an outdoor seating area with stables still in evidence to the rear.

Up to six Real Ales are served, supplemented by some craft beers plus a massive selection of gins. The range of gins has resulted in an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. Private gin tasting sessions can be booked via the pub website.

The pub has regular live music and DJ sessions at weekends (see the pub's Facebook page).
