This Pub is Closed Long Term

Opened in November 2018, this smart modern bar and eatery occupies 2 floors in a converted textile mill. The basic industrial style interior is taken back to the original Victorian brickwork with much of the tables and seating made from scaffolding poles and planks but very comfortable non the less. On the ground floor is a dog friendly specialist craft beer bar which serves 4 real ales and up to 10 craft (keg) beers on tap, nearly always including 2 stouts or porters. The first floor is given over to dining where you can watch your meal being freshly prepared and cooks in the open plan kitchen. Note the first floor is accessible at pavement level on the steep hill to the side of the main entrance.

Conversion

Pub in part of a Grade II-listed textile mill in 'industrial chic' style over two floors. The conversion shows original Victorian brickwork with much of the furniture made from scaffolding poles and planks. The first floor is for dining with an open kitchen. It's an interesting venue which impressed judges of CAMRA's pub design awards.
