A former Wetherspoon's conversion of a wine bar which was once a hardware shop, taken over by Davenports Brewery Co in October 2023. Situated in one of the town's main shopping streets this busy venue serves a wide variety of visitors from shoppers to office workers. The pub offers food including paninis, sandwiches, steaks, burgers, pizzas, beer battered fish & chips and a selection of deep filled sandwiches for those pausing for lunch at the pub. 12 tv screens around the pub. The four handpumps on the bar facing the door are often not in use, Beers are available on the bar further down the pub.
