This Pub is Closed Long Term

Popular village local close to the Solway Firth and a bird reserve, and the only pub in the area open all day for people walking the Hadrians Wall route. Meetings are held in the pub for the fishermen who follow the ancient occupation of haaf net fishing, unique to the Solway. The licensee has gained a reputation for providing excellent food, locally sourced, including delicacies such as sea salmon, sea bass and sea trout. Usually three Ales are available.CURRENTLY CLOSED DURING HANDOVER TO NEW OWNERS IN 2021
