A excellent village local run by the same team as the Hop Vine in Burscough since October 2014. Mere Brow is a small village just off the A565 road. This is a relaxing traditional pub with cask ales from the Hopvine Brewery based at the Hopvine pub in Burscough and mainly specializes in locally sourced excellent food.

The X2 Liverpool to Preston stops on the A565 near the roundabout into Mere Brow also during the day the 347 stop outside.
