Wuthering Heights Inn, Stanbury

Directions

You want to visit - You have this in

The Wuthering Heights is a popular, friendly local in the tiny village of Stanbury on the Bronte Moors just off the Pennine Way. The pub dates from 1763 and consists of a traditional main bar area boasting a log burner and internet terminal for customers use. On the walls are a range of old photographs showing the history of the village. Adjoining this is the cosy dining room with a Bronte theme and a further log burner. Traditional home-cooked meals are served daily (except Tuesdays) and speciality themed dining events are held occasionally. The third room is wood-floored and the favoured room for parties and meetings. The walls feature artworks by local artists which are all for sale. Several separate outdoor drinking areas make the best of the spectacular views down the Worth Valley. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome as are walkers and cyclists. Quiz nights are held every Thursday. Camping is available in the small field below the garden (no vehicular access), offering impressive views from your tent door. Two cosy shepherd's huts each with double bed and wood burning stove are also available. Open Bank Holiday Mondays. Local Pub of the Season - Winter 2018/19 and Winter 2024/25
