Reopened under new management in early December 2024.
Built around 1650 as a beer shop, the Red Lion is a small, two-roomed free house. The downstairs is decorated in a contemporary style. The main bar area is stone-flagged and is warmed by a glowing multi-fuel stove in a huge fireplace. The snug to the right of the entrance is carpeted with a servery to the bar. There is a small outdoor drinking/smoking area in the courtyard to the side of the pub and a beer garden at the rear via some steps.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
