Solid built Yorkshire village pub, now an independent free house. The pub is separated into two distinct areas served by a common bar. To the left, upon entry, is the dining room, while a right turn leads to an L-shaped bar which houses the log fire; some of the tables in this room are made from re-cycled barrels. Extensively refurbished, the emphasis is on the high-end food, which can be enjoyed both in the dining room and the pub. Walkers are welcome but are asked to remove muddy boots; dogs are welcome in the bar but should be kept on leads; Live music is played in the bar from 9pm on Saturdays, while Thursday evening features a lively quiz and 'Play Your Cards Right'. 3 rooms available for accommodation.
