One of several pubs near the Market Square, this pub has three areas on differefnt levels. Live music features in the back room. Has three handpumps, two for beer and one for cider (usually one of Lilley's flavoured efforts)

Closed on 18/7/26 after 15 years in the same family. Reopened on 13/8/26 with a new licensee under the Valiant Pub Co umbrella.
