This Pub is Closed Long Term

A fine old traditional 16th-century public house situated in the beautiful area of St Michaels. The pub is close to the entrance to the stunning Verulamium Park and Lakes and a stone's throw from the Roman Verulamium Museum. There are two bars (Crown Bar & Rose Bar) in which you can enjoy the atmosphere of an olde traditional beamed public house and open fires. A popular refuge with dog walkers, there is an enchanting garden tucked away at the rear of the car park. Currently closed - the owner is in lengthy discussion with local planners - the pub's future still to be decided.
