Built around 1838, the pub was lovingly restored in 2016 and is decorated with lots of photos and historical prints, classic furniture and ornaments. There are lots of different sized rooms in which to enjoy the pub's varied menu or just a drink, as well as a large bar area. Drinks available include up to six cask ales and a real cider, and the pub hosts occasional beer festivals. An attractive large garden goes down to the River Ver and features a children's play area. The pub also benefits from a large car park.
