Large, new-style town centre bar created from a former bank - previously known as Baroosh until 2018 - popular on the town centre night-life scene and quieter during the day. A major refurbishment in 2025. There is a patio where smoking is allowed and an eating area - breakfasts from 10am. Food all day until 9pm (7pm Sun). Families with children are welcome until 6pm - dogs welcome also until 6pm. The pub's name is a reference to medical practitioners who once lived close by.
