This Pub is Closed Long Term
Refurbishment in September 2007. This uniquely named pub takes its name from the chalk which used to be cut or drawn in the area behind it. Built in the early 1900s and much extended over the years, the pub has three drinking areas and a separate pool room. There is a patio to the front and a secluded garden to the side with a smoking shelter, children's play area, barbeque and views over farmland. There is a full calendar of events and music nights, see the website for details.
